Game Format:

• 3-minute warmups before each matchup

• Three 18-minute periods per game

• Games consist of a series of full ice “Mini Games” within the full game

• Each mini game is a race to 3 goals

• First team to 3 goals wins that mini game and earns 1 point

• Once 3 goals are scored, goalies switch ends and a new mini game begins

• The team with the most mini game wins in the hour-long game earns a W

• If mini games are tied (e.g. 1 win each), game goes to a 3-person shootout

• Top 2 teams with the best overall records advance to the Championship Game

  • (Note: Goals for/against do not matter — it’s all about mini game wins)

Tiebreaker Rules:

• Throughout the weekend, Mallards staff will hand out Ducks to players showing standout sportsmanship, fair play, and Mallards culture

• In the case of a tie in standings, the team with the most Ducks will move on
